SPRING 2026 COHORT IS OVER HALF FULL!

Join Dr. Gillian Boudreau for an eight-session, small group
Reflective Practice Group

Stewarding kids through challenging times is a big responsibility, and at times nearly impossible. Many of us also work within crumbling systems that require more of our heart and soul than we are able to give. Reflective practice is a time honored tool to help helpers ask the important question “Am I okay?” and if not, “What can I do about it?” in safe community with those grappling with the same questions.

This group will bring forth trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming approaches that may be useful with your clients and students, but that will focus on helper wellness and survival.

Grow deeply as a provider
in the safety of community

This group includes eight 75-minute sessions. Group size is limited to 12 participants. The cost is $50 per session ($400 total) and we anticipate the impact on provider well-being will be profound.

The Reflective Practice Group meets Wednesdays at 5:30 PM PT / 8:30PM ET
Group dates: 2/4, 2/18, 3/4, 3/18, 4/1, 4/15, 4/29, 5/13

Here's how the sessions work:
Learn and grow

Each session will start with a 15 minute didactic session to explore why our work can feel SO HARD. Dr. Boudreau will teach you simple nervous system shifts you can begin to make to be a source of calm in a chaotic world for our Autistic clients. These lessons will be recorded and will build upon each other. Click to watch a sample of the didactic portion of a reflective practice group with Dr. Gillian Boudreau

Explore deeply

Following the didactic portion, participants will share their live reflections, finding common themes and exploring what growth as a provider might look like. All  participants will have the opportunity for deep internal reflection and group processing. This portion will not be recorded.

Dr. Gillian Boudreau

Licensed Clinical Psychologist, (she/her)
Gillian Boudreau (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Boudreau has worked with children and families across the country starting in 2008, with the mission of understanding and addressing our human need for attachment, connection, and effective communication in such a way that can help individuals, family systems, school systems, and larger organizations to support all brains. Dr. Boudreau aligns with the social model of disability and is always seeking to interrogate the system and context in which human challenges emerge with the understanding that all of us are inherently whole, and will do well when given the freedom to thrive. Early in her career, Dr. Boudreau developed and directed a comprehensive behavioral program housed within Vermont public schools addressing intensive emotional and behavioral needs. She currently runs a private practice based in Portland, Oregon for children, families and adults with expertise in autism, anxiety and trauma. She is a national speaker on topics including psychological safety and emotional intelligence, offers many courses and trainings on fear in institutional systems, trauma, neurodiversity and mindfulness, and provides ongoing training and consultation for multiple school districts and organizations. Gillian also co-hosts two podcasts: “Stance of Curiosity” with a focus on school psychology, and “Emotional Physics” with a focus on romantic and sexual relating and attachment.

WHAT PARTICIPANTS ARE SAYING:

“This group is amazing, the people in it are amazing, and Gillian is incredibly kind, insightful, and talented at what she does. Would recommend this to anyone and it was worth every penny spent!”

“The opportunity to connect with others in the Reflective Practice Group has been truly beneficial to my mental health and professional growth. Participants are stretched to recognize underlying energy behind both positive and negative thoughts and experiences, whether in work or personal life. I leave each session feeling lighter, with relief at having been fully heard as well as receiving a healthy perspective and reset as I move into the coming weeks.”

“It was great to listen to others outside of my job and find common themes, both positive and challenging. I felt shared support. Gillian is exceptionally good at listening, reflecting, and providing support. She modeled, and many in our group mirrored her after our breathwork, when reflecting on what others may have shared earlier. I am so happy I participated!”
