Learn a neurodiversity-affirming process that will change
your goal writing
MODULE 1: Strengths-Based Goal Writing (45 minutes)
The medical model teaches us to write deficits-driven goals that wreak havoc on the mental health of Autistic students. But there’s a better way!
In this module, you’ll learn a framework that will allow you to confidently write goals that area aligned with your deepest values and your desire for your clients’ authentic well-being.
MODULE 2: Case Study 1 (30 minutes)
Clinical practice is complex and can be messy, but the goals we write matter. To help you apply the strengths-based goal writing framework to your actual work, Rachel Dorsey will walk you through a true-to-life case study, teaching you her clinical reasoning step-by-step in a way you can easily apply to your own clients.
MODULE 3: Case Study 2 (45 minutes)
We want you to leave this training brimming with confidence and enthusiasm to put your new skills into practice. In this module, you’ll work through a case study together with the other live participants so that you can have the skills to apply the framework to your own work with ease.
